A woman with tattoos wearing a sheer black bodysuit is posing in a library setting. She is sitting on a brown leather ottoman with bookshelves in the background filled with books, decorative items, and plants.

HEY, I’M APRIL.

Boudoir photographer. Mom of three. Loud laugher. Disney adult. Taco snob. Messy bun wearer. Soul igniter.

But more than anything, I’m a woman who spent years doubting herself — and finally decided she was done with that shit.

For most of my life, I shrank myself. I picked apart my body in the mirror, covered up my softness, ignored my needs, and poured from a damn empty cup. I watched the women around me do the same. And I thought that was just how it was.

But motherhood cracked me wide open.

I caught myself looking at my daughters and realized something gut-wrenching — I was teaching them how to hate themselves. Not on purpose. But in the quiet ways. The body shame. The side-eye at my reflection. The way I held my breath instead of taking up space.

That realization wrecked me — and saved me.

Because that’s when I decided I’d be the last woman in this family to carry that weight.
I stopped hiding. I started healing. And boudoir became my rebellion. My therapy. My sacred fucking magic.

Now, I spend my days showing women what they’ve forgotten:
That you were never broken. Never too much. Never not enough.

You’re art. You’re power. You’re worth being seen — as you are, right now.

If no one’s told you that lately, let me.

And if you're ready? I’ll show you.

MEET OUR MAKEUP ARTIST

Makeup artist applying makeup to a woman's face in a salon.

Taylor Ellzey

Licensed cosmetologist. Chaos coordinator. Cool mom™ energy with a makeup brush in one hand and a Red bull in the other.

With 7 years of experience and two kiddos running wild at home, she brings a little Southern sass, a whole lotta humor, and just the right amount of hot mess into the studio. She’s been doing hair and makeup since she could reach her mama’s vanity, and now she’s turning that lifelong obsession into pure power for every woman who walks through the Babe Cave doors.

She’s the type to blast Megan Thee Stallion while perfecting your winged liner, talk you into the bold lip you didn’t know you needed, and have you laughing so hard mid-glam that your lashes lift (don’t worry, she’ll fix it).

When she’s not in the studio? You’ll find her barefoot on a boat, Morgan Wallen on the speaker, cold drink in hand, soaking up every bit of sunshine she can find.

Total chaos. Total heart. And your personal glam sidekick from start to finish.
